About Love To Speak
“To speak a language is to take on a world, a culture”
– Frantz Fanon
Love to Speak was built on the knowledge that travelling places enriches our life experiences. Anna Sjödahl, founder and teacher of Love to Speak, thinks that the greatest gift she was given is that of languages; that being able to communicate and interact with the people and their culture enhanced her connection to the surroundings. It’s this belief that led Anna to pursue teaching languages in London, which is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world.

As a child Anna moved around a lot with her father’s job, but this only sought to influence her passion for travelling. After living in Sweden, France, Spain and Brazil she went on to explore more of Europe until finally settling in the UK – though who knows where her next destination will be.
I’ve always believed that learning languages brings out the best of your experiences abroad, whether you are a foreign national living in England, doing business in France, seeking the sun in Spain or ordering meatballs in Sweden, nothing is better than being able to communicate and be understood.
Anna Sjödahl has been teaching languages for over fifteen years and has achieved both CELTA and TEFL qualifications. She is fluent in five languages, including English, French, Spanish, Swedish and Portuguese.
